In January 2012, we will be officially releasing the Cast Guests List. please do not pay attention too Rumour Mills from people saying who they "Think" is attending Tribal Con. as it is  very Misleading and very upsetting too fans. especially  if the Rumour is about their Favourite Cast Member.

Please remember that these guys (the Cast) have other prior commitments and Schedules they must attend too and also to see if those prior commitments and schedules don't clash with the dates of Tribal Con.which they would be unable to attend the Convention...

 So, therefore We are waiting 100% conformation from the cast members we have asked and official blessing too Release their Names..

ABOUT THE SHOW

In a post-apocalyptic world a mysterious virus has annihilated the adult population and children are left to fend for themselves in a primitive and chaotic new era. With the collapse of all familiar structures, gangs begin to form and new ways of surviving soon develop as the few remaining children and teenagers tackle the task of building a New World. The series begins with the various tribes being held hostage by The Chosen, a tribe striving for absolute control and power.

Well, after such a long countdown, the day has finally arrived for the pre-release of ‘The Tribe: New World‘, the first novel in the on-going story in the continuing saga of The Tribe!
And… yes, there will be more novels released throughout 2012…
‘A New World’ is being offered exclusively to our Facebook friends and fans through Tribeworld as a limited collectors edition, personally signed by the author with a foreword (which won’t be available in the general release version). This edition is being offered until the end of November, after which time it will go on general release in December.
Don’t forget we still have a few last remaining copies of Ray’s book, ‘Keeping the Dream Alive‘ after another print run but the final date for this limited collector’s edition, which includes screenplay outtakes and can also be signed by Ray himself, will be 30th November 2011, prior to going on general release in December.
The general release copies available from December 2011 will not have the extra add-ons that are in these collectors editions and will not be autographed. Both books will of course also be available digitally as -ebooks through outlets such as Amazon, etc. More information soon.
Either book or better still, both books, make ideal Christmas gifts for any Tribe fans. And we are pleased to announce that we will soon be revealing some more Tribal goodies which will be available for Christmas. So watch this space! Keep the Dream Alive!..

About Ray Thompson the creator of The Tribe

Raymond Thompson is a screenwriter, composer and producer.
Thompson was born in Redditch, Worcestershire and grew up in Ontario, after his parents emigrated to Canada. He studied Drama at York University and embarked upon a successful career in the music industry as both a songwriter and musician. His groups include Stillwater, and one evolved into Edison Lighthouse, who had the number one record "Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)".
Thompson published a novel in 1979, The Number to Call Is... before becoming a script consultant for various producers. His television writing credits include Squadron and the iconic Howards' Way, which ran for six years and was considered to be one the BBC's most loved drama series, drawing huge ratings. He acquired the position of Head of Development for BBC Television Drama Series and worked on many other titles, including Bergerac and The House of Eliott. In 1994 and in association with the Sanctuary Group PLC, Thompson founded his own production company, the Cloud 9 Screen Entertainment Group, which has since specialized in family entertainment.
The company trades through offices in London, Wellington (New Zealand), and has expanded into the Australian market. Southern Star currently distribute the substantial back catalogoe. Since 1994, Thompson has created and produced several television series and movies, including The Enid Blyton Adventure Series, The Enid Blyton Secret Series, The Adventures of Swiss Family Robinson (starring Richard Thomas), Return to Treasure Island, The Legend of William Tell (created by Thompson), William Shatner's A Twist in the Tale (also created by Thompson). Other series Thompson created include Atlantis High, Revelations – The Initial Journey, and The New Tomorrow. Perhaps his best known creation is the teen drama/sci-fi hybrid The Tribe, which has become a cult classic around the world and ran for five years with almost three hundred episodes being produced. The series is constantly being repeated and has a fanatical fan base.
Thompson has Asperger syndrome, an autism spectrum condition. Thompson's son Cameron was also diagnosed. Thompson founded the Cloud 9's Children Foundation, which aims to support families in Oceania affected by Asperger syndrome.
In 2001, he returned to his music roots and composed the soundtracks of Cloud 9's portfolio, as well as the Spirit Symphony, which was partly inspired by his Asperger syndrome. It was performed by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and released on CD in 2004. The proceeds of the song "With You Every Step of the Way" (also composed by Raymond) were donated to the foundation.
He has been a juror at BAFTA and the International Emmy Awards. In 2003, he was appointed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as a member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his services to television. In the same year he also received an Honours Award at Dragon*Con.
A wine lover, Thompson owns Tirohana Estate.
Thompson is currently focusing on his screenwriting activities and is developing a portfolio of motion pictures which he hopes to produce.



(Note: through my many phone conversations with Ray over the phone and the support that Ray gives too each of Us fans especially when we good through a hardtime. this man has become like a mentor too me. Ray is one of the most compassionate person i have come too know. and it is truely an honour too  know him...)

Tribal Con Australia is a Charitable Organization and some of the staff of Tribal Con are actually participating in Movember this year. I did  Movember charity Last year as well (MO sista), and it's fun..So! grab a bunch of friends who don't mind making dicks of themselves by wearing fake Mo's and hats (prefect hat is the fedora) and sunglasses and walking the streets and raises money by any means you see fit!!!..believe me it's fun!!!

About the Campaign

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in Australia and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and depression in men.



On Movember 1st, guys register at Movember.com with a clean-shaven face and then for the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo growing efforts.

Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November and through their actions and words raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health.

At the end of the month, Mo Bros and their female supporters (known as Mo Sistas) celebrate their gallantry and valor by either throwing their own Movember party or attending one of the infamous Gala Partés held around the world by Movember, for Movember.

Just a Note:
and as a precaution,  because from December to February is Cyclone and thunderstorm summer season in Australia. In case of flooding that happened early this year in Brisbane, when the Brisbane river reached to maximum peak and broke it's banks and flooded the lower areas in Brisbane. we have arranged for a Standby/backup Convention centre which is the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre or Known as the MECC..people will be advised ahead of time if any should occurs.

Mackay is a Township in North Queensland, which about a 10 hour(approx) drive from Brisbane.

Spoke to Ray today on the phone and TRIBAL CON AUSTRALIA in Association with Cloud 9 entertainment LTD and with the blessing of Ray are please too announce that Ray Thompson will be attending Tribal Con in June 2012 with Cast members of the Tribe..those cast members will be announced in January 2012..

                             Welcome too Tribal Con Australia's blog spot.
you maybe wondering what is Tribal Con? and what is it about?. Tribal Con (short for Convention) is the First ever all tribe Convention too be held for the Children's cult television show The Tribe, Created by Ray Thompson.

Tribal Con Australia as it is known as will be held in Brisbane on the 15Th to 17Th June 2012. Tribal Con Australia is also in Association with Cloud 9 Entertainment LTD.

There will be Special Guest appearances from the Cast of The Tribe which will be Announced in January 2012. and lots more

Tribal Con Australia is a non-profit and Charity Organization will a list of Charities that we are going too donate too after the Convention.
